That’s about it for the trip.  I said goodbye to Mum on the Monday morning, but promised to be out again in October.  We have the great London Development Centre reunion at The Mad Bishop and Bear pub in Paddington Station on the 11th and Sandie and I are planning to attend.  Never thought I’d cross the Atlantic for a party, but this should be quite an occasion.  We’ll all need nametags to recognize each other after 30 years, (in large print of course).

We’ll have a couple of days in Brighton before the party.  Then I’ll be going back, having run out of vacation, but Sandie’s planning on staying on and visiting Auntie Vera and Uncle Bill in Stafford.

The trip back was uneventful, though the plane was packed to the doors again.  I met up with the man who had been going to Kiev, and he had armfuls of Ukrainian oil paintings that he’d bought over there.  I was just glad he looked healthy and hadn’t caught whatever I’d had!

Everyone met me at the airport, so I managed to get rid of a lot of souvenirs I’d collected. Since then, we’ve got the plants in for this summer, but that’s about all.  We haven’t had time to go camping, and I’m off to Philadelphia for a customer advisory council this Sunday, so that’s messed up another weekend.

Christina and Joanna have been camping and have had the boats out so they’re ahead of us this year.  Christina finishes 11th grade this week, so I’m sure she’ll be taking advantage of the summer as much as she can.  We’ll all be going up to Gooseberry Falls in a couple of weeks for me to run Grandma’s Marathon.  I’ve been packing the miles in since I recovered from the cold, so I hope to be in shape by then.
