2005/06 Alaska Trip - Road West - Alexandria |

Tuesday June 21st
The reason for the rush to leave was that we’d arranged to meet with a friend for lunch in Alexandria, 150 miles away. So we were up at 6 am and away just after 9 for a sunny run up to Alex. We did the same trip to Alex on the same day last year and camped that evening in North Dakota under a frost warning, whereas this year it was muggy and hot with no danger of frost.

Wednesday June 22nd
It was a beautiful warm morning on the deck overlooking Lake Ida, so we had a lazy start to the day.
